Layas si Pinay-nay (Watch “Real Mommas Ph” on YouTube)

I am guessing that “layas” has no direct english translation (Tell me because I am not in the mood to google.) Layas means going to places or, when you are refered to as layas, you are a person who often go out or go to places most of the time or all the time. Sometimes a positive verb and sometimes, a negative adjective. It really depends on how you use it.

The Real Mommas of Ph admins met through the advocacy of baby wearing and breast feeding. Some people may wonder why we always hang out with our babies wrapped in blankets, weird cloth and backpack like carrier (We are not torturing our kids noh!). This is attachment parenting. You can read about why I do this from my previous blogs. To spread the love of baby wearing we do our layas in public places.

The Real Mommas ph admins a.k.a Real Mommas of Mandaluyong favorite spot to do our layas is at the Greenfield District in Mandaluyong. We do our meet up almost every week during Greenfield District Weekend Night Market. The night market is every Saturday from 4Pm to 12 MN. There, you  can see awesome arts, organic fruits vegetables and plants, nice food and diversity of people and pets. You can also chill out and listen to live jazz while you eat.

If you want to know about us, babywearing and breast feeding you can join Real Mommas Ph on facebook.

You can visit Greenfield District and Weekend Market page on Facebook although I am not connected with them in anyway.

It is Christmas time as I post this entry! The video is also a gift to my Real Mommas Ph family! Merry Christmas! Cheers!
